PETERSBURG, Fla. – YourMembership.com Inc., the global leader in online member communities and web-based membership management solutions, ended a successful 2008 by launching several new membership management features. New membership management features include the ability to make specific membership types available during the registration/renewal period only and the ability to set an introductory pricing option for new members. As with all YourMembership.com product enhancements and upgrades, these new features are immediately available for free to all YourMembership.com clients.
Now, YourMembership.com clients may decide on a per-membership-type basis if the membership is available during registration and/or if it is available during the upgrade/renewal period. These new features allow site administrators to offer unique memberships during registration (i.e. introductory memberships) that have different costs and terms than those that are offered during a renewal period – and vice versa.
In addition, the new introductory pricing option is now available. If a YourMembership.com client organization offers paid memberships, it may now provide special introductory pricing. This allows site administrators to create a membership type that is available during the initial registration process that features a specific price and duration with different pricing activated after the introductory time period.
