Today represents a milestone for YourMembership.com, with the kickoff of Xperience2014, our first customer conference. With more than 2,800 organizations using our software, representing 20 million members around the globe, our customers champion a highly diverse landscape of professions and causes. We are thrilled to welcome several hundred of them to Xperience2014 this week, and the significance of this conference is best said by J.P. Guibault, YourMembership.com’s President and COO, in his welcome letter to our attendees:
On behalf of YourMembership.com, I would like to personally welcome you to Xperience2014, our first ever customer conference.
For 15 years, our employees at YM have worked tirelessly to develop the technology and services that enable rich member and staff experiences for the organizations we serve. Yet, while much has been accomplished, there is still so much more to do. As we come together these next few days, we keep in mind the thousands, even millions of individuals we collectively serve who are seeking education and professional development, lobbying and influencing legislation, and advocating and championing a cause. There are many administrators back in their offices planning the next event, developing the next member acquisition and retention campaign, and preparing for the next Board meeting. Simply put, while technology continues to evolve, so do the expectations and needs of those experiencing it.
At YourMembership.com, we are inspired by you, our customers, your missions, and your members. This conference is all about evolving, learning, and sharing. It’s the start of many conversations as we begin the next chapter of our work focused on usability and ease of use, the focus on our customers’ customer (members), and making customer experience priority number one – thus the name Xperience2014! It’s also about coming together, meeting new friends and becoming part of a movement that can shape how member-based organizations succeed and thrive in the highly competitive world we all work in.
We’ve packed these next few days with hands-on training sessions, thought leadership discussions, best practices workshops, focus groups, evenings with special social activities, and much more. Our goal for the conference is to provide you with the tools, technology and know-how to create the ultimate experience for your organization’s members. In addition, we look forward to listening and learning from you throughout the conference and beyond.
I encourage you to use this time to network, share your best business practices, and learn how your colleagues face and address similar challenges. Engage with our staff members, provide us your feedback and input, and above all, enjoy your time here. We’ll do everything we can to make sure you do.
Get ready to connect, engage and grow with us at Xperience2014.
