The association world is about to converge on the Motor City this weekend for ASAE’s 2015 Annual Meeting. I am excited about making my way to Detroit, except for the 4:00 AM wakeup call to make my flight – reminds me too much of my days as a kid delivering newspapers.
A lot has happened at YM since we were in Nashville last year for ASAE. We acquired Job Target’s Career Center Business Unit to go with our Association Career Network, marking a turning point in the industry by combining the strongest career center platform and services model with the best media and advertising sales force in the marketplace.
We started 2015 with a bang by announcing the purchase of Digital Ignite, an award winning Learning Management System, to the YM suite of products, creating the leading member engagement platform for organizations. Through Crowd Wisdom™, a next generation social learning platform, it is now possible to provide community-based knowledge sharing and personalized professional development for learners within an organization.
Just two months later at Xperience 2015, our second sold out Customer Conference, we announced a strategic partnership with QuickMobile, the global leader in mobile enterprise meeting and event apps. The integration of YM and QuickMobile’s mobile enterprise meeting and event app is helping organizations maximize their members’ in-person experience and capture valuable feedback and insight through sharing data across the systems.
And to get things hopping in Detroit, we are announcing a new strategic partnership with Informz, a leading provider of email marketing and marketing automation for the association market. The integration with YourMembership’s member engagement platform will debut this fall, adding robust features to make email marketing campaigns more personal and targeted, eliminating manual processes and reducing administrative workload.
As Reggie Henry, ASAE’s Chief Technology Officer said during his Xperience 2015 Keynote, “It is time to rethink and reimagine what we offer based on the tools and technologies available today. YM gets it…they absolutely get it.”
If you’re in Detroit for ASAE please take a minute and stop by the YM booth (#539) for a visit. We have a new look and a big message to share with you – focusing on the remarkable stories being written daily by the 4300 organizations who trust YM to help them serve 20 million members worldwide.
And if you haven’t signed up yet for YM’s August Thought Leadership Webinar, Big Bang Disruption: 5 Technologies and Trends That Should Be On Your Association’s Radar, don’t wait. Registration is filling up fast, and it will be a very interesting hour as we discuss the disruptive technologies and trends every association should be aware of and have a plan to address. I hope you can join us.
