This past week, ASAE 2016 in Salt Lake City was a first for YourMembership’s all-new SocialLink. The response to the unveiling of SocialLink was overwhelming. At first glance, prospects and clients alike were thrilled with the design of the game-changing platform. They quickly understood the real power of the solution when we offered fully-functional demos at our event booth.
Scalable, User-Specific Social Solution
The smiles were difficult to hide as we discussed the pain points SocialLink immediately alleviates for associations and their members. I saw the proverbial lightbulbs illuminate as attendees realized the seemingly endless possibilities to scale the solution. They can now offer content and opportunities tailored to individuals via a truly member-centric experience.
Most conversations centered around the ability to overcome existing lack of member involvement. The use of available community features and network opportunities solves for accessibility on any device and interactions based on individual user preferences.
The intrigue only deepened from the notion that administrators have direct insight into the level of member contribution and activity within SocialLink through a brand-new backend dashboard. Bringing together the best available tools that many are already familiar with through popular social media anchored to actionable metrics made the upgrade a no-brainer for many.
Connectivity across Job Boards + Courses
Both existing multi-product clients and prospects were impressed with the added benefit of offering a social platform that seamlessly integrates their YM job boards and learning management systems through a simple and easy-to-use interface. Everyone seemed encouraged that their members no longer need to navigate across multiple interfaces to access the information most important to them. Essentially, the integration allows them to handily access relevant jobs and online courses and education.
Getting Social On-the-Go
However, the icing on the cake for many was the mention of our forthcoming iOS and Android native apps. Those will leverage the power of push notifications—solving for unread emails and the painless engagement that an app brings—and the aggregated feed to provide a member experience that’s truly unprecedented in the association industry.
A single app that brings together the inherent value of our most popular features and timely opportunities in networking and career advancement in the palm of your hand was jaw-dropping for everyone.
Give Us More!
The most exciting part of the experience for me was not only the in-person reactions at ASAE Annual, but the full inbox I came back to during the evenings. Emails overflowed with excitement from existing clients and their immediate desire to schedule more detailed demos with our team . . . ASAP.
At the end of the two-day run of demos, we noted SocialLink will have a greatly positive impact on our associations and their members. We are encouraged by the overall response to continue offering iterative enhancements to an already ground-breaking solution.
