ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – YourMembership.com Inc., the global leader in private online member communities, today announced the availability of its new Application Programming Interface (API). The new XML-based API (v1.0) enhances integration of YourMembership.com's online member data with third-party applications.

"This new API is designed to accommodate our clients' current business processes, and we'll continue to expand it over time by adding more functionality to this solid framework," said William H. "Now, YourMembership.com clients can programmatically manage their online member communities via this API – as it allows them to automate synchronization of their valuable online member data."

The secure API allows YourMembership.com clients to query, add and update online member profiles and data. It also provides Single Sign On (SSO) with third-party systems and can act as an identity store to allow for identity federation. With the new API, clients also can conduct real-time data import/export of online member data. YourMembership.com will continue to enhance its API by adding more functionality to the existing framework.
