ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – As part of YourMembership.com Inc.'s contingency planning, business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, the St. Petersburg-based provider of online member communities today announced the implementation and activation of its secondary Network Operations Center (NOC) in Chicago, Ill. The new facility establishes a fully redundant hosting environment of YourMembership.com's primary NOC, which is located at the company's headquarters in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Served by separate high-speed fiber optic connections, YourMembership.com's Chicago-based NOC utilizes multiple tier-1 Internet backbone providers. The facility also features waterless fire-suppression systems, UPS and back-up generators, and environmental controls to ensure high-quality service. YourMembership.com monitors the NOC status 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

YourMembership.com's primary NOC in St. Petersburg includes many disaster prevention measures including diesel-powered generator backup, multiple fiber providers running BGP, climate control systems, and real-time data replication.
