ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – YourMembership.com Inc., a leading global provider of online member communities and membership management software, today announced the launch of its new Refer a Friend system. Originally called Tell a Friend, YourMembership.com redesigned and re-launched the system to enable members of YourMembership.com customer communities to refer new members and track their referrals.

With the Refer a Friend member referral system, an active member may now refer others to his/her organization’s online member community via a special encode link that is sent via each Refer a Friend email. Current members can also refer and track new members by copying and pasting a special link to from the Refer a Friend system into emails sent via external systems.

When a person registers after clicking on the link provided by a current member, a referral is recorded for the member who sent the invitation. The active member can then view and track his/her direct referrals, referrals’ referrals and third-degree referrals via the secure Refer a Friend system. In addition, a member’s referrals are referenced on the administrative backend within the member’s profile.
