ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – YourMembership.com Inc., the global leader in private online communities, today announced several new social shopping features and enhancements to its online store. The online store is included with every YourMembership.com online member community, and the latest features enable downloadable products, promotional codes, intuitive product search and grouping, and a customizable gift message option.

YourMembership.com clients now can sell downloadable products such as MP3s, Videos and PDFs via their online stores. When a shopper purchases a downloadable product and his/her order is processed, the system will send an email to the shopper with a link to download that item. By default the link will remain valid for 10 days; however, site administrators easily can change the length of time that a product link remains valid.

Online promotional codes (coupons) also are now active. Site administrators may create promotional codes with a specific dollar amount off or a percentage off and may set online coupons to expire on specific dates. Online promotional codes may be set for the entire shopping cart or for specific items, and they can be configured to require a minimum purchase amount in order to be valid.

The new product search functionality helps shoppers find the exact products they need more easily. Site administrators also can now relate products to one another on a product's details page – enhancing the overall social shopping experience.

The gift message feature enables shoppers to add customized, personal gift messages to their orders upon checkout.
