Directory Solutions Sales Representative

We are growing our sales team. The Directory Solutions Inside Sales Rep sells the organizations buyers guide platform offerings and advertising via telephone; generates prospective customers through warm leads and cold calling; manages the closure of leads that are provided by the organization; and may qualify and follow up with sales leads generated from marketing efforts. We are the only company to have the exclusive relationships with both professional and trade-based associations in the representing of their marketplace guides and as a result provide a unique value-proposition enabling individuals to win.
The ideal candidate keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested. We are looking for self-driven, dedicated sales reps that will also implement past experiences to further drive the day-to-day success expected in the coming years.
- Must possess a customer-centric posture as a sales consultant
- Manage leads from various online sources provided by a lead generation team
- Present with passion and conviction the unique value of partner’s buyers guide
- Craft, present and close total solutions to employers (advertising – based solutions)
- Develop/manage sales pipeline, monitor/report sales activity, provide accurate forecast
- Collaborate with requisite cross-functional teammates to delight the customer
- Quickly develop vertical industry subject matter expertise
- Develop strong relationships with the customer, resolve problems, and seek additional opportunities to meet needs in an entrepreneurial manner
- Manage a CRM and OMS (Order Management System) effectively and efficiently
- Plan and prioritize sales activity to consistently overachieve months sales goals
Qualifications/Required Experience/Skills + Education:
- 1-2 Years of industry-related experience a plus; Bachelor’s degree a must – We like hungry professionals looking for a phenomenal opportunity and are willing to train for success!
- Recent College grads strongly encouraged to apply.
- Solid user of current web/online communication technologies, including browsers, search, email, instant messaging, and forums/message boards
- Passion for technology, particularly online communication/collaboration technologies.
- Dedicated to winning and passionate about the job at hand.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and be able to present in both small and large group telephone settings.
- Professional with a proven capacity to exceed sales targets.
