As member-based organizations you may have spent months, or even years, growing your public, online community on Facebook, LinkedIn or any number of other sites. I’m sure you’ve tended to it and stoked conversation like any good online community manager would, but did it ever occur to you that you could be killing any real chances you have of increasing membership and/or retention?
