Member Management
With YourMembership.com’s member management software, administrators can create and manage member types – including approving members via email validation, directory matching or manual review. Administrative tasks like creating, editing and reviewing member profiles are easy via the backend. We even allow you to customize your registration links for greater visibility and/or sign-in traffic.
Multi-level accounts are possible through our master and sub-accounts. Master members may even export their sub-account data from the sub-account management page within the member’s frontend profile. (This is extremely helpful for master accounts with a large number of sub-accounts.) Member type becomes the crux of permissioning and pricing on your online community. These designations can be used to assign pricing/discounts based on a member type for event tickets, store items and more.
You can also set optional/required dues payment based on a specific member type. Access to features such as blogs, forums, groups, photos, connections , etc. can also be based on member types. Required registration fields and visibility can be customized by member type. Customized profile fields can be based off of member type as well.
In order to support an even greater range of member dues collection practices, we’ve added additional membership configuration options. These include: choosing to prorate annual dues payments; provide an expiration grace period (in which members can sign in for a specified number of days after their memberships have expired) and adjust the way in which dues are calculated. With renewal date calculation, you can determine if expiration dates are calculated from the current date, member’s expiration date or the date of registration/renewal.
Members can also carry some of the weight of the administrative tasks that are currently burdening your staff, thus freeing them up for other activities. You can allow specific members to manage community groups.
Finally, member (and non-member) profile data can be exported for use offline or in other third-party applications.
